Crandall Glassworks specializes in unique cremation glass art for those going through the difficult loss of a loved one. All works are custom made to order with delicacy and care.

We offer multiple colors in our pieces at no extra cost and are happy to discuss any ideas you may have. We want each piece to be reflective of your loved one and their individual characteristics. Please ask about bulk order discounts.

About the process

Creation of Pieces

All glass is melted on a two-fuel torch and is run on a mix of propane and oxygen. I take the glass rods and melt them together, carefully encasing ash, if a cremation piece, and designing to the customer's request.

Glass Studio

All custom pieces start with coefficient 104 rods of clear and colored glass and are melted down using my lamp working torch. I work out of my home studio in Maine, and yes, it can get pretty cold in the studio in the winter!
